Build An Axe Workshop

In collaboration with Steven Soria of Makesmith we created a build an axe workshop. We had eight participants who sharpened a vintage axe head, then shaped the top of a new hickory handle and then hung the axe head. They installed permanent wood and metal wedges in the top to hold the head on the axe and then practiced splitting some wood before heading off into the sunset armed with their creations.
